Steve began his career in the insurance industry with Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC in 1984. He joined Consolidated Insured Benefits as Vice President of Marketing in 1988 where he remained until he established Assured Benefits, Inc. in 1999. After owning and operating a successful insurance agency, Steve became a partner with Southeastern Insurance Consultants in 2013.
Steve is a South Carolina native and graduate of University of South Carolina – Coastal Carolina. Steve believes his need to provide exceptional customer service is what has made him a successful business owner. He strives to live by the Golden Rule and provide his clients with the tools and ideas to keep their benefit portfolio competitive.
Being an advocate of the insurance industry, Steve has actively served on the Board and has served as President of Piedmont Association of Health Underwriters and South Carolina Association of Health Underwriters.
Steve and his wife, Laura, reside in Greenville. They enjoy spending time with their children and spending time at the lake whether it’s cruising in the boat or relaxing on the dock!
